Shadow Falls

The Complete First Season

Shadow Falls was designed to run in the following order.  Each Season would start with a Prelude, setting the tone for the season.  Then there would be six episodes that jumped around in time, and then a epilogue that would be a DVD exclusive.  All in all it would tell a grander story about the town that all lead to a feature.  Obviously we have abbreviated that.

Monday.

DEAD TO ME

Shadow Falls Memorial is not necessarily a conclusion to the STORY of the Web Series Shadow Falls, but it is more of a tonal closure.

The story lines in this first season, while still there in the feature, are more secondary to what is happening in the feature.  The spirit is the same and you will recognize many faces and places, but Shadow Falls has always been more about tone and ideas than it has ever been about one particular character, or one particular story line.  I promise this all makes sense in the end!

Tuesday.

THE MAN FROM LOD

That end is all about room 206, we will get in there and we will see it, I promise, and then you will go back and you will think about the movie, and you will think about the series that came before it and you will think to yourself that it ends the only way that it could possibly end.

Wednesday.

DADDY

I wrote the ending to all of this almost ten years ago and I want you to know that I am sad but joyful to be to that ending.  I will miss Shadow Falls more than you can possibly know.  When I started this, I knew nothing about movies, this was my film school.

Thursday.

CRAZY JOE’S HAUNTED VIDEOTAPE

These movies are the movies that I learned how to write, shoot, and edit.  These are the three things I now do for a living.

Friday.

MY PIXIE VALENTINE

During production I lost my dad, I now am a dad.

I fell in love with my wife while working with her on this.

I have never ever, and I mean this, profited from Shadow Falls financially, and if I sold 1000 DVD’s I would still be in the red.  But had of I not made it I would have never met most of the people who now give me jobs that feed my family.

Saturday.

NURSE LEMMING’S RESPONSIBILITY

Not only did I learn how to get better every single day at making movies, I also learned a lot about myself and my character.  When I was young my dad used to tell me that I was great at starting things and not so great at finishing.  I like to think I am better at that now.  Because not only did I finish the story I started, but I went out with a bang.

Shadow Falls is dead.  Long live Shadow Falls.

See you on Friday!
